Great value for small DIY projects, surprisingly great quality a
Great value and surprisingly great quality for the price point. I was fixing an electric scooter and really only bought this for the wires that came in the kit. Turns out, the soldering iron in this kit was better than the one I bought at Walmart and the other one I bought at harbor freight - and this one even included accessories that the others were missing. The temperature settings seem to be accurate and I like how the kit came with almost all the stuff you need for small projects. I was also surprised by the quality of the soldering iron as well as some of the stuff in the kit like the clippers and stand. My only gripe would be the wire strippers are simple and only great at stripping 22 gauge wire, but you can make it work for other gauges with some effort. But the rest of the kit more than makes up for this minor inconvenience. ++ Great Value + Better soldering iron than any of the budget ones you can buy at a store + Sturdy stand for the soldering iron + Great and essential accessories like flux paste and an entire Desoldering kit + Beginner friendly - no real complaints at this pricepoint TLDR: Better value than any budget soldering iron you can buy at a store, beginner-friendly, great quality, and includes everything you need to make a quality solder.
Good basic soldering set
I bough this for a small electrical project I was working on. I was rewiring the electronics on a rc car which I accidently fried. I didn't have a soldering set and bought this set for this purpose and for any other projects that may come up. As I foresaw myself using this infrequently, I did not want to spend a lot of money on a high end iron. Others have reviewed this very well so I wont repeat the information. This set came with a lot of extras as you can see in the pic. I actually have taken out some pieces and have been using them aside from when I am using the iron. The wire cutters are nice to use instead of using scissors when they are needed. Same with the tweezer. I did buy lead free solder as I believe this comes with leaded. It appears as if lead solder is preferred but I wanted something "safer" just in case I was using this with my kids in the future. The iron worked well for me and got plenty hot for my purposes - I just left it on the highest heat setting. I did buy a separate stand to help free up my hands to use this iron and the solder. If you need a set for occasionally use this will fit the bill and comes with extras that you may find yourself using more than the iron. Would recommend.

This is an inexpensive soldering kit, so it's not industrial quality by any means. But all the pieces are functional and useful, and I've used it for several soldering jobs with no problem.
